Checklist - one day eco-tour
Sun hat, beanie, good raincoat, suitable walking
shoes, spare clothes,
lunch, snacks, water bottle, sun block, medications
(eg asthma etc)
Checklist - 2/3 Day Camp
Tamariki need 2 bags. a small day pack & a larger
bag.
It is important to tell them that everything
they
need for the first day needs to be in their day packs....
eg Sun hat, beanie, Togs, towel, good
wet weathergear, insect repellant, pens paper medication
& make sure that they wear good walking shoes.
It is important that all of the above items are in
their day packs because once the large bags are stowed
down in the hold, it is very inconvenient to unload
them all just to get a pair of togs or an asthma inhaler
that will always be in the bag that is on the bottom
!
Large bags.
The size of these bags needs to be kept as small as
possible.for stowage reasons.
Sleeping bags should be separate, there is no need
for bed rolls because we have matteresses in the tipees.
Camp supplies dishwashing liquid, tea towels, pots,
cutlery, plates,
tea, coffee, sugar, plastic food wrap.
